I started to swim as a water polo player and I always had a certain attraction for sea crossings.

During my military service, I moved away from swimming for 5 years. At that time I was fantasizing and while I was in the Alpine regiment in South Tyrol I decided to try to make the Messina crossing.

I did it and the enthusiasm that came after it started to give me lifeblood to continue doing this sport, generally over distances from 5 to 7 kilometers.

As soon as I learned of the existence of the Gran Fondo in the Bocche di Bonifacio I could not help but want to do it … and here I am registered for this edition!

Long distances has always fascinated me and combined with the fact that it is a crossing between two islands, this event feeds my desire to be there.
