I live in Amberg / Bavaria and am a passionate long distance swimmer since over twenty years.

It was an honor for me to successfully cross in 2017 this wonderful and beautiful strait of Bonifaccio. I especially liked meeting so many new, friendly people. I always like to remember this adventure.

This crossing was my third canal crossing after the Strait of Gibraltar (2008) and the Belt Crossing (2014).

I greet all my swimming friends who did it together with me in 2017.
