I began to run, swim and do triathlons in 2009. I ran the NYC marathon twice, in 2011 and 2013, and did my first half Ironman in Turkey in 2017. In 2022, 2 years into the COVID19 pandemic, I decided I needed a new personal project.

Perfect timing: with a wedding to attend in June, I looked up the Bonifacio crossing, and found NAL and Alessandro.
