I am an interventional cardiologist, married with three children and out of work there is my passion for swimming. I have been a master athlete since 1999, today with CC Aniene and I have also had the opportunity to swim for various companies such as Due Ponti, Larus, Dabliu, Flaminio Sporting Club.

When I became a master swimmer, I favored open water races over swimming pools, even though I won regional titles on distances of 800 and 1500 meters.

In the first experiences in open water, I favored the races in Lazio of short and middle distances, almost always climbing the podium in the Regional Criterium from 1999 to today (18 times out of 20).

I also participated in several events outside the region and abroad, such as the 2017 World Masters Championships in Budapest, the European Masters of Riejka 2016 and Kranj 2018.

I love cold water, I often train in open water even in winter in the Gulf of Anzio, perhaps even without a wetsuit, so much so that I participate in the winter trials (first at the 400m New Year’s Bath, Ostia 2019).
