My passion for swimming began as a child for a visceral love of water in general. After a short period of swimming school and provincial swimming in the pool, I have continued to swim since I was a boy with my friends.

In the early 2000s, meeting a dear friend, Tartarotti Marco, I started participating in open water competitions, taking more seriously to train and participate in various events on the national territory over different distances, short and long.

The search for different emotions led me to participate in ever longer distances, like in the Strait of Bonifacio where you swim with the heart. Swims like these have changed my way of seeing swimming and have made me stronger internally, resilient, able to adapt to various difficulties, but above all to know myself better.

Bonifacio is a unique emotion, a challenge with oneself, it is a full-fledged crossing and as such for those who love open water challenges, it must be done at least once in a lifetime.
